Dr Kristen
Owner, Head Veterinarian
Kristen originally hails from Canada and graduated from veterinary school in 2005, working in both large and small animal practices before moving to Australia in 2016. Kristen has worked in both referral institutes and emergency departments, and has a keen interest in complex internal medicine cases. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys the outdoors, surfing, running, and spending time with her family - and of course her dog Jeff.
Dr Sophia
Veterinarian
Sophia is one of the amazing, dedicated veterinarians here at Lennox Head Vet Clinic, and has been with the clinic since 2021. Sophia grew up in Lennox Head and enjoys working within the beautiful community she knows well. Sophia has previously worked as a vet in Denmark and America before returning back to the area, working in both GP clinics and emergency. Sophia enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery and medicine and is happy to treat all animals great and small. While not a work Sophia loves to ride her horses through town and along the sand dunes and enjoys nights painting or sewing.
Nurse Kylie
Head Veterinary Nurse
Kylie is one of Lennox Head Vet Clinic’s wonderful nurses. She has been a veterinary nurse for 24 years and has been with Lennox Head Vet Clinic for 7 years. Kylie has a special interest in all surgery, and emergency nursing. Outside of work, Kylie loves camping, spending time with her family (including 2 gorgeous dogs), and kicking back with a good book.
Nurse Piper
Veterinary Nurse
Piper is one of our fabulous nurses here at Lennox Head Vet Clinic. In 2021 Piper graduated from her veterinary nursing course, and has been working in the industry ever since. Piper loves all aspects of vet nursing, but has an especially keen interest in surgery. Outside of work, Piper loves spending time camping and doing anything with her two dogs Archie and Louie, and of course her partner, usually revolving around the beach.
Nurse Marcia
Veterinary Nurse
Marcia is one of our amazing nurses at Lennox Head Vet Clinic. Marcia is originally from Brazil, and has worked with both pets and wildlife for more than 15 years. Marcia has been with Lennox Head Vet Clinic since 2019, and also works at an emergency clinic. At the vet, her interests include wildlife, surgery and pathology. Outside of the vet, Marcia is also a marine biologist, and likes to spend her free time in nature going surfing and diving.
Vet Tech Sasha
Veterinary Technician
Sasha is our amazing veterinary technician here at Lennox Head Vet Clinic, and has been with us since 2022. She graduated a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology and Agribusiness from the University of Queensland in 2023. Sasha grew up in Lennox Head with a menagerie of animals, from horses to chickens, rabbits, and everything in between. She has an interest in radiology, anaesthesia and making sure your animals get lots of love and care when they’re with us. Outside of work Sasha enjoys travelling and hanging out at the beach, especially with her dog Pablo.
Enzo
Head of Security
Enzo is clinic cat and head of our security at Lennox Head Vet Clinic. Enzo came to the clinic as a scraggly rescue kitten, but from these humble begins grew the sassiest, silliest, most handsome little cat in all of the land. Enzo enjoys keeping hospitalised patients company, catching bugs, and performing quality control on our heated hospital beds.
Jeff
Head of Treat Sampling
Handsome Jeff is our head of treat sampling, chief napper and all-round good boy. He enjoys long walks on the beach, sticks and barking at strangers. You won’t find him in common areas of the clinic for this reason, but he’s around - and an integral part of the team.
